Refund Policy

If RIVET isn’t right for you, email us within 30 days of purchase and we’ll refund you in full. No forms, no justification required.

How to request

Send an email to lukas@rivet-security.com from the address used at purchase, including your Lemon Squeezy order ID. That is all we need. There is no form to fill in and you do not need to tell us why, although feedback is always welcome and helps us improve RIVET.

Timeline

We aim to acknowledge your request within one business day. Approved refunds are issued within 5 business days to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take a few additional days for the funds to appear.

What happens to your licence

When a refund is issued, the associated licence key is deactivated. You agree to stop using RIVET on the refunded licence and to remove it from your server. Continued use of a refunded licence is a breach of our Terms of Service.

Fair-use limits

Our no-questions-asked policy relies on good faith. To keep it sustainable we apply a few reasonable limits:

Refunds apply to the first purchase of a licence; we may decline repeat refunds on the same card or account.
We may decline requests that show signs of abuse, such as buying, using extensively and repeatedly refunding.
Beyond the 30-day window, refunds are at our discretion but we will always consider genuine technical problems.

Your statutory rights (EU / Netherlands)

These terms are in addition to, and do not limit, your rights as a consumer under Dutch and EU law. Where the right of withdrawal applies to the purchase of digital content, EU consumers have a 14-day cooling-off period.

Because RIVET is digital content supplied immediately, you may be asked to acknowledge at checkout that delivery begins at once and that the 14-day statutory withdrawal right is thereby waived. Our voluntary 30-day money-back guarantee is more generous than the statutory minimum and applies regardless.

Before you chargeback

If something is wrong, please contact us first — we can almost always resolve it quickly, and a direct refund is faster than a chargeback. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may delay resolution and can result in the associated licence being deactivated.
